Don't take our word for it!

... and some teachers!
Emma Cole, Head at Malvern Way School explained that:
“Introducing the play rangers to our school lunchtimes has been hugely positive. The children greet the team enthusiastically each week and enjoy the variety of activities on offer. A number of parents have commented on the success of the play rangers. The team are hugely fun for the children but responsible and professional. They are proactive in developing their offer to us and I would have no hesitation in recommending this service to all schools.”
Helen Cook, previous Head at Greenfield’s School explained that:
"Having the Play Ranger sessions at our school has increased the children's overall outdoor learning experiences. The children delight in the opportunity to explore, investigate and take risks in a safe environment that challenges them physically and intellectually.
The Play Rangers have worked closely with the teachers to ensure that topics being covered within the class are reflected in the type and range of activities that are on offer outside. For example, when learning about the Stone Age children built dens and made fires. These experiences were then reflected in their writing and as discussion points in P4C.
As a school we have been able to shape the sessions to fit and enhance the curriculum. The children are enthusiastic and excited about taking part and we are able to offer experiences that develop, extend and enrich children’s leaning.”
Duncan Roberts, Head at Maple Cross School explained that:
"As a child I remember playing outside in my local woods until the sun set. Today, this is not always seen as a safe option. Play Rangers allow children to enjoy the same outdoor experiences that I remember but safely monitored. The impact on these children's confidence, risk taking and general attitude is enormous. Play Rangers offers children a fantastic opportunity to experience the outdoors - climbing trees, making fires, building dens - in a monitored environment. A firm recommendation from me."
Lizzy Duck, Sports Coordinator at Rickmansworth Park School says:
"Our children have a wonderful time and really enjoy the whole experience made available to them. It is so rewarding to see them being so active in an environment they may not have the opportunity to use frequently. The whole element of risky play allows them to face their fears whilst receiving the support and encouragement from their peers. "
